Elon Musk’s Unusual Behaviour at China State Dinner Goes Viral

BEIJING – Elon Musk once again became the focus of social media after his unusual behaviour and facial expressions during a state dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping went viral online.

The high-profile dinner was attended by several influential business leaders from around the world, including Tim Cook and Jensen Huang. However, it was Musk who captured most of the attention during the event.

Videos circulating on social media showed the Tesla and SpaceX chief making a variety of facial expressions while seated at the dinner table. Musk later shared the clip on his social media platform X, where it quickly gained millions of views and sparked humorous reactions from users.

According to the viral footage, many guests at the event were seen engaging in formal and informal conversations after the dinner. Unlike the other attendees, Musk remained seated and appeared uninterested in socialising with fellow guests.

Several celebrities and business figures were also seen approaching Musk to take selfies and photographs with him. After posing for pictures, Musk appeared focused on using his mobile phone instead of interacting with the crowd, adding to the online buzz surrounding his behaviour.

Reports stated that Musk was part of the delegation accompanying US President Donald Trump during his visit to China. The delegation included top American business leaders from major technology companies.

Trump’s visit to Beijing reportedly focused on finalising trade agreements in sectors such as agriculture, aviation, and artificial intelligence. Discussions also covered ongoing tensions between the United States and China, along with the evolving situation in the Middle East.

During the meetings, Xi Jinping reportedly signalled greater opportunities for American businesses in China, saying the country would further open its doors to foreign investment and cooperation.
