New York (NY Today) Instant messaging application WhatsApp has announced the introduction of a new feature that users will have to pay to use.
The Meta subsidiary has announced the introduction of several new changes soon. However, the platform has assured its 1.5 billion users that no changes will be made to the main chat page. The biggest change among these changes is being brought to the channels and statuses feature.
For the first time, channel owners will be given the option to add a subscription fee, which will allow members to pay a monthly fee to get the latest updates. In addition, users will also be able to advertise their channels by paying some price.
