Doha – Qatar has expelled two Iranian diplomats following an attack on a major gas facility, according to official sources. Authorities have directed that the diplomats must leave the country within the specified timeframe.
Qatari officials also strongly condemned the Israeli strike on Iran’s energy infrastructure, calling it “dangerous and irresponsible.” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the attack targeted facilities in Iran’s South Pars gas field, which is directly connected to Qatar’s North Field — one of the world’s largest natural gas reserves.
The ministry further warned that such actions pose a serious risk to global energy security, potentially disrupting supply and increasing instability in international energy markets.
