According to foreign media reports, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have issued a statement claiming that American banks operating in Gulf countries have been targeted in response to what they described as attacks on Iranian banking institutions. The statement suggests that these actions are part of a broader response by Iran following rising tensions in the region and alleged financial and cyber pressures placed on Iranian banks.

A spokesman for Iran’s Central Military Command said that Iran is also planning to target enemy missile launch sites located in several cities in the United Arab Emirates. He stated that intelligence reports indicate the presence of military facilities and missile systems that Iran considers hostile or threatening to its national security. According to the spokesman, these potential targets are being monitored closely as part of Iran’s strategic defense planning.

The spokesman further claimed that after the destruction of several American military bases in the region, the United States has sought refuge in the ports, dockyards, and densely populated urban areas of the Emirates. He alleged that these locations are being used for logistical support and military coordination. Iran has warned that using civilian infrastructure or populated areas for military purposes could further escalate tensions and complicate regional security.

In a message directed to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, the Iranian spokesman emphasized that Iran considers the protection of its national sovereignty and territorial integrity to be its legitimate and non-negotiable right. He added that any threats against Iran would receive what he described as a “firm and decisive response.”

Meanwhile, the Iranian Ministry of Defense has also issued a statement saying that the country plans to increase the deployment and use of upgraded military weapons. According to the ministry, Iran will rely more heavily on advanced ballistic missiles and other destructive missile systems designed to enhance its defense capabilities.

Defense officials stated that these upgraded weapons have been developed as part of Iran’s long-term strategy to strengthen its military deterrence and protect the country from external threats. They also claimed that the new systems are more precise, faster, and capable of striking distant targets if necessary.

Regional analysts warn that such statements could further increase tensions in the Gulf region, where geopolitical rivalries and military presence from multiple countries have already created a fragile security environment. International observers are closely monitoring the situation, urging restraint and diplomatic dialogue to prevent further escalation.
