Pakistan Air Force Successfully Conducts Test of Locally Developed Timor Weapon System

Faisalabad (NYT) – The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully carried out a test of the indigenously developed Timur Weapon System, marking a significant advancement in the country’s air and defence capabilities.

According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Air Force, the successful trial represents an important milestone in strengthening national defence preparedness. The Timur air-launched cruise missile is capable of delivering a conventional warhead and can accurately engage both land and sea targets at a range of up to 600 kilometres.

The missile is equipped with a modern navigation and guidance system and is designed to fly at extremely low altitudes, enabling it to effectively evade enemy air and missile defence systems. The spokesperson added that the successful flight test was witnessed by senior military officials, as well as leading scientists and engineers involved in the project.
