New York – Rena Oh, a survivor of abuse linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, has opened up about the deeply traumatic experiences she endured, revealing years of emotional, psychological, and physical suffering.

In a recent interview with Indian media, Rena Oh recounted how she was just 21 years old when Epstein began to manipulate and abuse her. She described how he frequently belittled her appearance, mocked her age, and subjected her to constant humiliation, despite the significant age difference—Epstein was 47 at the time. According to her, this relentless mistreatment left long-lasting psychological scars.

Oh also revealed that she had experienced abuse even before encountering Epstein, which made her more vulnerable. She explained that her quiet nature, shaped by earlier trauma, was something Epstein quickly recognised and exploited. Over time, his control intensified, leaving her feeling trapped and powerless.

During one trip, Oh said Epstein confided disturbing personal secrets. However, when she shared these details with another individual, he allegedly threatened her, instilling fear that prevented her from leaving. She further claimed that Epstein often boasted about his powerful connections in Washington, suggesting he could use sensitive personal information—such as immigration status—against her. This created a constant sense of surveillance and fear.

The survivor also described a particularly violent final encounter, after which she managed to cut all ties with him. Despite breaking free, she remained silent for years due to fear and trauma.

Reflecting on recent developments, Oh mentioned the case involving Prince Andrew, calling it a significant step forward. However, she expressed concern that authorities in the United States have not yet taken sufficient action to fully address the broader network involved.

In her closing remarks, Rena Oh sent a powerful message to other survivors, urging them to speak out and stand strong. She emphasised that victims are not alone and deserve justice, calling for all individuals connected to such crimes to be held accountable.
